Adams Connect ("Adams Connect," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. Adams Connect is a Pennsylvania-based, solo-operated IT services business providing networking installations (UniFi), Odoo implementation and consulting, smart home and AV installation, structured cabling, network storage setup, and related technology services.

We collect information in the following ways:

a) Information You Provide Directly

When you fill out a contact form, request a quote, sign a service agreement, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:

  • Mailing or service address
  • Details about your project, property, or technology needs
  • Payment and billing information, if you engage us for paid services (see Section 3)
  • Any other information you choose to include in messages to us

b) Information Collected Automatically

Our Site is hosted on Odoo, which may automatically log limited technical information when you visit, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on the Site
  • Referring website or search terms

We do not currently use Google Analytics or third-party advertising/tracking cookies on the Site. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

c) Information From Service Delivery

If you engage us for services, we may collect additional information necessary to complete the work, such as details about your network, devices, home or business layout, and existing technology infrastructure. This information is used solely to deliver the contracted service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes
  • Schedule, deliver, and manage the services you request
  • Process invoices and, where applicable, payments
  • Communicate with you about your project (via email, phone, or our client management system)
  • Maintain business records, including service agreements and Odoo Sign documents
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Payment Information

Depending on how you choose to pay for services, payment may be processed through Odoo's invoicing system or a third-party payment processor integrated with Odoo. We do not store full credit card numbers on our own systems — payment processing is handled by our payment provider(s) in accordance with their own security and privacy practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any payment processor used at checkout.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business, such as our website/CRM platform (Odoo), email hosting provider (Namecheap Private Email), and DNS/security provider (Cloudflare). These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not authorized to use it for their own marketing purposes.
  • Payment processors, if you pay online, solely to complete your transaction.
  • Legal authorities, if required to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Adams Connect, our clients, or others.
  • A successor business, in the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of business assets, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.

6. Cookies

The Site may use limited, functional cookies necessary for basic operation (for example, to remember form entries or maintain session functionality through Odoo). We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies; doing so may affect certain Site functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy
  • Maintain business, tax, and legal records as required by Pennsylvania and federal law
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Project-related information (such as network details) is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to support the service provided or any warranty/follow-up work.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure hosting infrastructure, HTTPS encryption on the Site, and email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) to help prevent spoofing. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal and business record-keeping requirements
